What we deliver

Microstructure to function.

We provide multi-scale 3D characterization and image-based property extraction for engineered and natural porous materials – from ceramic filters and membranes to battery electrodes, concrete, and additive-manufactured components. Engagements are scoped per project, with deliverables ranging from a microstructure report to a full digital material twin.

Imaging

3D microstructure characterization

Multi-scale correlative micro-CT/-XRM, SEM/EDS, FIB-SEM, and S/TEM imaging of porous material samples at resolutions appropriate to the feature scale of interest.

Modeling

Digital 3D model reconstruction

AI-assisted segmentation and 3D model reconstruction of complex multi-phase material microstructures, producing digital models suitable for direct physics-based simulation.

Simulation

Transport property simulation

Permeability, effective diffusivity, formation factor, and tortuosity computed directly from digital material 3D models – no empirical fitting required.
